Update: Passenger Sustains Non-Life-Threatening Injuries in Rollover Crash

West Street is currently closed between Lowell Street and Industrial Way while first responders work to clear the scene.


Update 3:49 p.m.- West Street is now reopen to traffic between Lowell Street and Industrial Way following the rollover crash Wednesday afternoon.

A female passenger was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Wilmington Police responded to a rollover car crash on West Street Wednesday afternoon at approximately 2:30 p.m.

First responders are working to free passengers trapped inside the vehicle, according to the Wilmington Police twitter

West Street is currently closed between Lowell Street and Industrial Way while first responders work to clear the scene. 

According to Wilmington Police, commuters should expect traffic delays in the area of West Street near Suncrest Avenue due to the crash.
