Road Debris Causes Injury to Driver on I-93 in Wilmington

State Police tweeted several photos of the large object which caused facial injuries to the driver.

A driver was injured on Route 93 in Wilmington on Friday morning when a large piece of debris came crashing into their windshield.

Massachusetts State Police tweeted multiple photos just after 10 a.m. on Friday morning from the scene.

State Police Trooper Mike Crowley is shown in the photos pulling the debris from a vehicle's windshield. The object left a hole in the windshield that appears to be about one foot in length.

According to police, the driver of the vehicle suffered facial injuries as a result of the incident.
