Police Log: Assault and Battery and Toilet Paper Vandals

The following is an excerpt from the Wilmington Police log from Monday, September 24 to Tuesday, September 25.
Monday, September 24
10:13 a.m.: A Jacquith Road caller reported that a small bird flew into her window and she believes its wing may be broken. Dispatch left a message for the Animal Control Officer. The original caller reported that the bird flew away.

10:38 a.m.: Police arrested Johnathon W. Dubord, 22, of 9 Dell Hollow Road in Billerica, for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and speeding in violation of special regulation.
2:18 p.m.: On Shawsheen Ave., a caller reported two males in their 40s, both riding bikes, approached a resident and attempted to sell him cell phones out of a backpack. The parties were last seen traveling towards Billerica.

3:30 p.m.: Graffiti was reported on the slide at Shawsheen Elementary School. The custodian at the school said he would take care of it.
5:41 p.m.: A physical altercation was reported on Burlington Ave. After arriving at the scene, police charged Vincent Dalleva, 41, of 295 Burlington Ave. with assault and batter and assault and batter with a dangerous weapon.
8:23 p.m.: Police received a call that reported several vehicles parked in front of a neighbor’s house on Chisholm Way and the occupants were toilet papering the yard. Two homes were toilet papered, but the vehicles had left the area before police arrival.
Tuesday, September 25
1:40 a.m.: A caller on Woburn Street reported that his house was toilet papered and there was debris in Cajun Way.
7:04 a.m.: On Cherokee Lane, a caller reported that on three separate occasions he has awaken in the morning to find his garage doors open. Nothing was taken, but he wanted the incident logged.
3:10 p.m.: When a Cresent Street resident arrived home, their ride on lawnmower had been taken. The lawnmower was returned by Pro Equipment. It was a mistake with a work order that was not cancelled.
