Police Log: An OUI Arrest, a Reported Hit and Run Crash and More

The following excerpt is from the Wilmington Police Department logs. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.


Monday, Jan. 30

3:12 a.m. A caller reported a vehicle parked on the bridge on Lowell Street near the 99 Restaurant. The responding officer placed Robinson E. Delacruz, 96 Ames Street, Lawrence, under arrest for operating under the influence of liquor. 

8:12 a.m. Police responded to a car crash on Salem Street. Two individuals were transported from the scene with injuries. Two vehicles were towed from the scene.

11:40 p.m. An officer reported four vehicles near Wilmington Town Common blocking the travel lane. The officer reported the owners of the vehicles were taking photos of their cars at the common. They were sent on their way. 

11:55 p.m. Police responded to a two car crash on Lowell Street near Mobile on the Run. Wilmington Fire Department also responded. One person was transported to Lahey Clinic. Two vehicles were towed from the scene.

Tuesday, Jan. 31

10:56 a.m. Officers made a vehicle stop at Lucci's on Lowell Street, and served a Billerica resident with summons for operating a vehicle with a suspended license (subsequent offense).

2:24 p.m. An officer responded to a two car crash on Main Street. Two vehicles were towed from the scene. 

2:52 p.m. A caller reported another vehicle struck her vehicle and continued without stopping while at Market Basket on Main Street.
