The following is an excerpt from the Wilmington Police log from Friday, October 19, to Sunday, October 21.
Friday, October 19
7:39 a.m.: A resident on Roosevelt Road reported that her unlocked vehicles were entered sometime overnight. The owner reported a stolen GPS and other miscellaneous items.
7:47 a.m.: Sometime overnight, a Boutwell Street resident had two of his unlocked vehicles entered, he reported.
8:50 a.m.: On Forest Street, a resident reported that his laptop was stolen from his home about a week ago. He also reported he found miscellaneous credit cards, clothing and other items in his front bushes. There was no obvious sign of a break in. Police retrieved the items from the bushes and returned them to the station.
9:15 a.m.: Vehicles on Roosevelt Road were entered overnight. Some loose change was taken in one vehicle and another vehicle was entered but nothing was taken.
11:19 a.m.: A resident on Elwood reported his unlocked vehicle was entered overnight but nothing was taken.
4:45 p.m.: Bank robbery was reported at Lowell Five Bank on Main Street. The suspect was described as a white male in his early 20s with a medium build, around 5’6” tall wearing a blue sweater, a tan baseball cap and sunglasses. The suspect passed a note to the teller and no weapon was shown. The man took off into the parking lot on foot and left in an unknown direction in an unknown vehicle.
9:16 p.m.: On Concord Street, a caller reported there appeared to be a man going through a vehicle. Patrick W. Jordan, 32, of 20 Kensington Ave., Somerville, was arrested for disorderly conduct.
Saturday, October 20
12:34 a.m.: Police received a report that a vehicle drove into a tree on Butters Row. No transport was needed by the Fire Department. Diana M. Rosselli, 25, of 1290 Shawsheen Street, Tewksbury, was arrested for operating under the influence of liquor and marked lanes violation.
9:03 a.m.: An ATV was stolen sometime since the previous morning from an unlocked shed on Emerald Ave. The vehicle is valued at about $1,500.
10:23 a.m.: The caller located the ATV in the driveway of a home on Emerald Ave. The keys are missing and a jacket was left on the vehicle.
Sunday, October 21
12:20 a.m.: A female shoplifter was leaving CVS on Main Street with a male passenger. Police confiscated items that the pair did not have a receipt for. A Lowell man and a Lowell woman were each summonsed on larceny greater than $250.
7:32 p.m.: An Elwood Road caller reported a past breaking and entering of a motor vehicle that occurred on October 18. The caller reported a stolen laptop, GPS and change purse. There was no forced entry to the vehicle.
