Report: Motel 6 Suspect Wanted For Framingham Shooting

TEWKSBURY - According to The Sun, Tewksbury Police confirmed that the man taken into custody is Damon Johnson, 24, who just before 5 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 25. 

Framingham Patch reports that after the shooting on Aug. 25, Johnson allegedly took off in a car while armed with a 9mm handgun and when cornered by police, escaped on foot. A  but he was not found Saturday night.

38 Minors Charged With Possession of Alcohol in Reading 

READING - On Sept. 2, according to Reading Police, officers reported to a house party were over 40 youths were present without adult supervision. As a result of the party,  and one youth is being charged with furnishing alcohol to minors, police said. Police have decided to implement a Zero Tolerance Policy regarding cases similar to this one.

Stoneham Man Pleads Not Guilty to Charges in Melrose Hit-and-Run Case

STONEHAM - A Stoneham man accused of  pleaded not guilty to charges in a Malden court on Tuesday, according to officials.

Eugene Ledonne, 76, of Stoneham, pleaded not guilty to charges of leaving the scene of accident after causing personal injury and assault and battery dangerous weapon (motor vehicle) in Malden District Court, according to Stephanie Guyotte of Middlesex District Attorney Gerry Leone's Office. Judge Matthew Nestor released Ledonne on $300 bail with conditions of no driving and no contact with the victim, Guyotte added. 

Ledonne's next court appearance will be on Sept. 26, as he's scheduled for a pre-trial conference, according to Guyotte.

New Owner to Take Over Restaurant and Function Facility at Thomson Country Club

NORTH READING - Owner of Teresa's Italian Eatery in Middleton Nick Yebba, Sr. is . The transfer of the liquor license was approved at Monday's Board of Selectmen meeting, and Yebba plans to make some major changes to the club.
