Lowell Street Dunkin' Donuts Robbed Early Sunday Morning

The robbery occurred at the Dunkin' Donuts inside Mobil On The Run at 316 Lowell Street early Sunday morning.

At approximately 3:30 this morning, Wilmington Police were dispatched to a reported armed robbery at the Dunkin' Donuts inside Mobil On The Run at 316 Lowell St.

According to the Wilmington Police facebook, a male party wearing a dark coat, jeans and a black scarf covering his face pointed a handgun at the clerk and demanded cash. The suspect then fled the building.

Wilmington officers along with assistance from the Massachusetts State Police searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect. The matter is still under investigation. No further information is available at this time.

The Wilmington Dunkin' Donuts at 66 Concord St. was robbed on Monday, Nov. 9.

Wilmington Police said they did not believe the Concord Street Dunkin' Donuts robbery to be related to a string of recent robberies at Dunkin' Donuts in the Greater Boston area.

A Dedham man was arrested and charged by Canton Police last week for allegedly robbing more than 20 Dunkin Donuts in the Greater Boston area.
