Traffic was backed up along I-93 South in Wilmington Friday due to poor road conditions and a crash in the left lane.

Police responded to a crash shortly after 8 a.m. on I-93 South near exit 39 ramp in the left lane, according to the Wilmington Police twitter feed.

Initial reports indicate there were injuries sustained in this crash.
