Missing Chelmsford Woman May Be in Lowell Area

Chelmsford Police don't suspect foul play, but they are looking for tips for a missing woman who was last seen Monday afternoon.

Deputy Police Chief Jim Spinney said Brittany Chiasson likely is in the Lowell area, and police believe she left voluntarily.

"At this point in time, we don't suspect foul play. But we are actively investigating," said Spinney. "She's had issues in the past where she left and didn't keep in great communication, but she usually does call."

Chiasson was last seen driving a 1995 grey Mazda MPV wagon with black trim. Police said the van has a Massachusetts plate of 421JP6.
