Update: Main Street Reopen Following Crash at Cross Street

Wilmington police responded to the crash at approximately 2 p.m. on Nov. 20, closing Main Street in the area of the crash.


Update 2:49 p.m. - 
Vehicles have been cleared from the scene of the crash and Main Street at Cross Street is now reopen to traffic. 

One person was transported from the scene of the crash with injuries, according to Wilmington Deputy Fire Chief Rick McClellan.

A section of Route 38 in Wilmington has been closed Wednesday afternoon following a car crash at the intersection of Main Street and Cross Street. 

Wilmington police responded to the crash at approximately 2 p.m. on Nov. 20, closing Main Street in the area of the crash, according to the Wilmington Police Department twitter.

Traffic is being diverted around the scene of the accident.
