LOLCR adoptable cat of the week - SHELLY

LOLCR adoptable cat of the week -SHELLY lots of love cat rescue, wilmington, ma http://lwww.lolcr.org/

This Tabby/Bengal mix has sweet golden eyes and an endearing personality. Shelly is about ten months old, a short-haired girl with chocolate and black tiger stripes, white bib and white paws. Born on the streets during the winter, a kind soul spotted two kittens scrounging around an office building. After many calls, she found someone who would trap, neuter and release them, since they were feral. However, the trapper couldnt release the two frightened, innocent kittens, knowing there would be nobody to feed them. She contacted LOLCR for help. They came in incredibly frightened, if you can imagine, now they are living inside with people; like being snatched up by aliens to live on another planet. Shellys sister adapted quickly and has found her forever home. Now its Shellys turn. Shelly is a happy girl with a good purr, but is never overbearing or boisterous. She has made great strides and progress from when she first came in. She is now all over her foster mom, seeking her out for a good petting session and comes when called. Her sweetness shines when she reaches out with her paw and gently pats her hand. Shelly recently found her voice and makes happy chirps to gain her attention. She loves to hang out while she works on the computer, sometimes even helping her type and rolls around exposing her belly. Right now she is shy with new people, but the foster mom is working on this as well as getting her used to being picked up. Shelly is easy going around cats and kittens and enjoys calm dogs as well. Now that that she doesnt have to live a life focused purely on survival, shes learned how to play and can keep herself entertained. She comes alive when the cat wands and laser toy comes out. This young beauty with pretty eyes is too sweet to overlook.
