Why is Wilmington Memorial Library Important to You?

Library seeks input during National Library Week.

National Library Week is April 8 to April 14, and Director Tina Stewart is looking for community input.

"First sponsored in 1958, National Library Week is a national observance sponsored by the American Library Association (ALA) and libraries across the country each April," said Stewart. "The slogan for this year’s celebration is 'you belong @ your library.'  Whether you are a job seeker looking for resources to land a new job, a parent looking for free activities for children or a student searching for your next favorite book, we invite you to tell us - Why is the Wilmington Memorial Library important to you?”

Share your thoughts in the comments section below and let Stewart and other librarians know just why the local library is such a critical resource to you.
