Community Corner

Thank you to the Members of our Community

One year ago, on February 9, 2013, our family lost its home in an apartment building fire.   We are all well and are established in our new home; and we would like to take this time, on the anniversary of that event, to extend our very heartfelt thank you to the members of the Wilmington Community for all of the help and support we have received.   We are very grateful for the many donations of clothing, household items, food, gift cards and monetary assistance, as well as the many many prayers and good wishes we received.  Sometimes it takes an unfortunate incident to realize how truly kind people really are.

While the fire was certainly a hardship that we would not wish for anyone, it has reinforced for us what a wonderful community we are part of and that there are many things that are far more important than the items that were lost:  our health, our community, the love we share for each other.

Thank you to you all,
