There needs to be a major change implementing state monitoring of the director and assistant director of the conservation board! Presently, these people do not have to answer to anyone and they have caused much unnecessary anguish to quite a few residents. We need to stop the harassment of hardworking taxpayers and focus on more legitimate issues concerning the wetlands! With all the building going on here in town no one seems too concerned about saving what forests we do have and the encroachment upon the wetlands, instead the assistant director chooses to waste town money on the lesser violations! How outrageous that no one monitors the monitors!
