Obituary: Bryan R. Cadigan, 33, Courageously Battled Melanoma

Bryan R. "Bry Bry" Cadigan passed away on Monday at Winchester Hospital.

Obituary from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home:

Bryan R. "Bry Bry" Cadigan passed away at Winchester Hospital, Monday afternoon, April 14th. The beloved husband of Shannon M. (Queenan) Cadigan, he was 33 and valiantly pursued a courageous struggle with Melanoma.

Born in Malden, he was the beloved son of Deborah Daly of Wilmington and Gary Cadigan of Texas. Raised and educated in Woburn, he moved to Raynham and was a graduate of Bridgewater-Raynham High School. Following high school, his family moved back to Wilmington, where he has remained.

He began working in the Health Care industry. Brian started as a driver for Denmark Home Medicals and rose to Director of Operations. He then took on a position as Director of Logistics for New England Home Therapies.

Family reunions with the Cadigan and Daly families, spending time at the family cottage in Kingston during the summer, were where many memories were made and wonderful times had.

A very hard working, honest man, he was dedicated to his family. Actively involved until just recently, he wouldn't miss a soccer, football, cheerleading, or tumbling match, game, or practice with his children.

Kind, bright, and articulate "Bry Bry" loved life and all those with whom he shared it. He has "fought the good fight and he has finished the race," all done with the same determination and compassion with which he lived.

Bryan was predeceased by his grandparents, Dotty Daly and Daniel Cadigan.

He is lovingly survived by his wife Shannon and his children, Molly Elizabeth and Daniel Robert Henry Cadigan, all of Wilmington; his parents Deborah Daly of Wilmington and Gary and Debra Cadigan of TX; his siblings, Casey Chevers and her husband Ryan of Burlington, Maria Cadigan of TX, Gary Cadigan of TX, Katelyn Acker of Wilmington, and Byron Acker of PA; his niece and godchild, Addie Elle; his grandparents, Robert Daly of Woburn and Helene Cadigan of Winchester; and his stepfather Byron Acker of PA, along with many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn on Saturday, April 19 at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service in St. Dorothy’s Church, 120 Main Street, Wilmington at 10 a.m. Interment in Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington.
