John R. Trickett, 32

Loved fishing, music, his family, his dogs, and spending time with friends.

John R. Trickett, age 32, a life-long resident of Wilmington, died Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington.

John was born on March 22, 1981, in Winchester, MA, he was the beloved son of June M. (Pidgeon) and John C. Trickett both of Wilmington.

John was raised and educated in Wilmington and attended Wilmington High School.

John worked for several years with a landscaping company, as a hardwood flooring installer, and also worked as a plumber’s apprentice.

John loved fishing, music, his family, his dogs, and spending time with friends.  He especially loved being a dad to his son Jaylen; he was the light of John’s life and his greatest achievement.

John will be dearly missed by all who loved him.

In addition to his parents who survive him, John was the beloved father of Jaylen Trickett, dear brother of Janette (Trickett) Wiggett and her husband Bruce of Plymouth, NH, uncle of Logan and Cabot Wiggett, grandson of Eleanor Pidgeon of Gilmanton, NH, Marie Trickett of Salem, NH, the late Janette Pidgeon, Robert Pidgeon, and David Trickett, nephew of Robert and Beth Pidgeon, Caroline Doherty, Bruce and Michele Doherty, Brad and Sandy Doherty, Andy and Betsy Doherty, Paul and Ann Trickett, David and Cindy Trickett, Elizabeth and Bob Thomas.  John is also survived by many cousins, extended family members, and friends.

Family and friends will gather for Visiting Hours on Friday, May 3rd from 4-7 p.m. in the Nichols Funeral Home, Inc., 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington.  In lieu of flowers donations in John’s memory may be made to the John R. Trickett Memorial Fund, Reading Co-operative Bank, Attn: Rich Selig, 300 Trade Center, Suite 1740 Woburn, MA 01801.
