Charley Kelley, Member of Wilmington Minutemen, Passes Away Unexpectedly

The longtime Wilmington resident was a member of the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War.

The following is an obituary courtesy of Nichols Funeral Home.

Charles P. Kelley, “Charley,” age 62, a long-time resident of Wilmington, passed away unexpectedly on June 17, 2014.

Charley was the cherished son of the late Charles P. and Therese R. (Greenlaw) Kelley, dear brother of Michael J. Kelley & Mary Huse of Wilmington, Robert J. Kelley & his wife Nancy of Sandown, NH, Daniel J. Kelley of Windham, NH, John F. Kelley & his wife Andrea of Grafton, NH, and Timothy L. Kelley of Wilmington.  Charley is also survived by many dear nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will gather at the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave, (Rt. 62), Wilmington, for a Funeral Service on Tuesday, June 24th at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow with Military Honors in Wildwood Cemetery.  Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Monday, June 23rd from 6-8 p.m.

Charley was a dedicated member of the Wilmington Minutemen and also served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War.
