Wilmington Sons of Italy Hold Annual Golf Tournament

Ten teams of four golfers participated in the tournament on October 5.

Merrimack Valley Golf Course in Methuen was the site of the Wilmington Sons Of Italy Annual Golf Tournament. The tournament  was held on October 5 as 10 teams of golfers consisting of four players each teed off in a golf tournament where proceeds this year went to benefit Alzheimer's Disease Foundation and search for a cure.

This year, as in years past, the  tournament was run by Kevin Caira who with his committee did an excellent job in obtaining  sponsors to sponsor holes, golf carts and/or donate prizes for the raffle held during the luncheon.

The players were treated to coffee and donuts, then coffee and breakfast sandwiches, and a luncheon after the tournament concluded. During the luncheon  cash prizes were awarded for the contests run during the  tournament.
