Sons Of Italy Donate $1,700.00 to the Relay For Life

On the Eve of Wilmington's Relay for Life, the  Wilmington  Sons  of  Italy  Donated $1,700.00  to the  cause.

The money  comes from the  Sons  of Italy's  annual Easter Bunny Breakfast, this Year  held  on April 1, 2012. This is the 3rd year in a row that the Relay for life has  been the  recipient of the cash  donation.

The  Sons of Italy, well known in the Wilmington  area  for its many civic, and charitable contributions, Is and organization  established  in 1905, to preserve Italian  culture  and History, also to  be resource to the community, and help with  community  needs. Besides  its help to the  Community  the  Sons of Italy  also  raise money for  Private charities , like the  Relay for life, and College  scholarships.

The relay  for life  too is an annual  event  that  promotes cancer awareness  and working  towards a cure.
