When it comes to serving meals to those in need here in Wilmington, few groups come to mind more quickly than the Wilmington Community Fund Food Pantry.

The pantry is open every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. for food drop off if you're interested in donating. 

If you're interested in donating, here are a few items you can donate to help the Wilmington Community Fund Food Pantry this holiday season.

  • Cake Mixes 
  • Canned beef stew 
  • Canned Fruit 
  • Canned Vegetables 
  • Cereal 
  • Coffee 
  • Cookies and lunch snacks 
  • Ketchup 
  • Macaroni and Cheese 
  • Mustard 
  • Mayonnaise 
  • Pancake Syrup 
  • Paper Towels 
  • Pasta Side Dishes (Boxed) 
  • Peanut Butter 
  • Potatoes (Instant) 
  • Relish 
  • Sugar

If you're interested in applying for food assistance, follow interviews for assistance are conducted on site at the food pantry on Wednesdays. Vital information about you and your family is necessary to create a profile and is not a guarantee that assistance will be provided. Bring the following information with you:
  • Social Security Number for each member of household
  • Driver's License/Photo ID
  • Proof of residency - current utility bill or rent/lease agreement
  • Proof of income (Paycheck Stub, Child Support, SSI, Food Stamps, TANF, Unemployment Check)
