Festival of Trees Set For This Weekend As Wilmington Prepares For Holiday Season

The annual event will be held on Saturday and Sunday to raise money for families in need this holiday season.


Still looking for something to do this upcoming weekend in Wilmington to get into the holiday spirit?

The Women of Wilmington’s 3rd Annual Festival of Trees is set to kick off this Saturday, Dec. 7 from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. and continue Sunday, Dec. 8 from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Villanova Hall, 126 Middlesex Ave. in Wilmington. 

This free family-friendly event will feature a spectacular raffle of close to 100 holiday trees, wreaths and baskets.  

There will be baked goods, popcorn and hot dogs for sale, as well as musical performances by Strings Attached, High School Clarinet Trio, the WOW children’s choir and a special visit by Mrs. Claus. 

Tree raffles include Bruins Tickets, Celtics Tickets, Money Tree, TJ Maxx Gift Card Tree, Rainbow Loom Tree and much more!

Proceeds from this event will be used to purchase holiday gifts for local families in need and to help fund Women of Wilmington’s high school scholarships.

The entertainment schedule for Festival of Trees is as follows:

  • Mrs. Claus – Saturday, 12 p.m.
  • WOW Children’s Choir – Saturday, 2 p.m.
  • High School Clarinet Trio – Saturday, 4 p.m.
  • Strings Attached – Sunday, 12 p.m.
