Help Fundraise For A Local Fighting Cancer

A friend of a local living with cancer is reaching out for assistance through the website Go Fund Me, which helps locals raise funds for a variety of causes. 

The poster writes:

Kim had her thyroid removed in May and it tested positive for cancer. She has been on a very strict diet and continued treatments that included radioactive iodine therapy for the thyroid cancer to catch anything that may have been left behind or had already spread. Needless to say it has been physically and emotionally exhausting for Kim and Wayne and an additional financial stressor. 

According to her Go Fund Me page, Kim works in Human Services and  Because of the intensity of the work she does there was no light duty work available to her following her surgery so she quickly exceeded her earned time.
