Chanukah Story Hour

What does Chanukah mean to you?  Is it the glow of the multi-colored candles shining in the Menorah, the telling of the story of the Maccabees, the joyous sounds of holiday songs, the spinning dreidels, the heaping platters of latkes, or the happiness of coming together with family and friends to celebrate the Festival of Lights?  We will experience all of these aspects of Chanukah when we join Rivka Leah and her guests in their holiday celebration as we share together the delightful tale, Lots of Latkes by Sandy Lanton, the featured book in our upcoming story hour.  The story reading will be enhanced with songs, a Chanukah craft, and special Chanukah treats.

This Chanukah story hour, geared to children ages 2.9 - 6, will take place on Tuesday, November 19, from 10-11AM at the Andover Bookstore, 89 Main Street Andover, MA.  The FREE program is made possible by a grant from the Merrimack Valley Jewish Federation, and is open to the entire community.  RSVPs are requested by November 15.  You may email Eddirector@BethIsraelMV.org or call the office of Congregation Beth Israel at 978-474-0540.
