9/11 Memorial Family Friendly Fundraiser and Silent Auction

On Saturday, November 30th, the 9/11 Memorial Committee will
be hosting a family friendly fundraiser at the St. Thomas Villanova Hall.
At this event, we plan to show off our initial designs for our memorial.
There also will be a variety of activities such as raffles, arts and crafts,
sales of food and drinks, and also an auction.

As many of you know, the gym of the current Wilmington High School is no longer there. The
planks used as the gym floor will now be sold as a piece of Wilmington history! Planks that were used to
spell out “Wildcats” will be part of a special silent auction but plain planks
from the floor will also be sold at a set price of $25. The entire event will
last from 2 PM – 4 PM and all proceeds will go towards the

funding for the 9/11 Memorial which will be placed in the courtyard of the new Wilmington High School. If you would like more
information, to be an event sponsor or donate a raffle item, please contact
