Verizon Outage Shuts Down Wilmington RMV on Monday
The town's Registry of Motor Vehicles is closed to begin the week.

According to the Massachusetts Department of Transportation, a Verizon outage will cause the RMV to be closed throughout the day Monday.
"Lawrence, Wilmington branches are closed for the day due to Verizon outage," MassDOT tweeted earlier today. "We apologize for the inconvenience."

The Wilmington branch, located on Middlesex Ave., was originally slated to open on Monday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. If services are up and running by Tuesday, the RMV will be back in business from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
