Five Things You Need to Know Today, November 16

Wilmington Memorial Library holds a movie night to close out the week in town.

"Five Things you Need to Know Today" is a Patch column that provides readers with essential, daily information at a glance.

1. Friday arrives with a bit of sunshine in Wilmington. According to Weather.com, temperatures will hit 50° as the week comes to a close in town. There is only a 10 percent chance of rain on the day with skies featuring a mixture of sun and clouds.

2. A trip to the movies doesn't have to cost an arm and a leg. Wilmington Memorial Library holds Family Movie Night, with a screening of Brave. Popcorn and lemonade will be served, and doors open at 6:45 p.m. The library will be closed for normal business during the movie.
