A sunny Thursday is ahead in Wilmington as Santa pays a visit to Town Hall.

1. There will be sunshine aplenty on Thursday in town. According to Weather.com, temperatures will settle in at 40° on the day. There is a zero percent chance of rain on the day and skies will be sunny throughout the day.

2. Santa Claus is paying a visit to Wilmington tonight. The Recreation Department hosts Santa's Workshop from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday inside Town Hall. Visitors are encouraged to bring their cameras to the always popular event.

3. Just one local board meets on the day. The Recreation Commission is slated to hold a meeting at 5 p.m. inside Town Hall, Room 8.

4. Two Thursday library events are on the calendar this afternoon. Teen Holiday Crafting is scheduled for 3 p.m. while the always popular LEGO Building is set for 3:45 p.m. at Wilmington Memorial Library.
