Five Things You Need to Know Today, December 20

Thursday will be an extremely busy day for local boards, with four of them in action.

"Five Things you Need to Know Today" is a Patch column that provides readers with essential, daily information at a glance.

1. Thursday's weather will look very similar to Wednesday's. According to Weather.com, temperatures rise to about 45° on Thursday to go along with mostly cloudy skies. There is not much chance of rain, with only a 10 percent shot at precipitation.

2. Today is jam packed with meetings scheduled around town. First at 1:30 p.m., the Elderly Services Commission meets at the Senior Center, followed by a 5 p.m. Water and Sewer Commission meeting at Town Hall, Room 9. The High School Building Committee will hold its own session in the same location beginning at 6:30 p.m.
