There is a busy slate of activities in Wilmington on Wednesday, which is 12-12-12.

1. Sunshine will splash through Wilmington on Wednesday. According to Weather.com, temperatures rise to about 41° on Wednesday. Skies will be mostly sunny thoughout the day and there is a zero percent chance of rain midweek.

2. The defending champs get back to work tonight. The boys hockey team travels to face off against Woburn at 8 p.m. tonight, the first game of the year for the Wildcats. The wrestling team also hosts Belmont at 8 p.m. and the girls hockey team welcomes Woburn to Ristuccia Arena with an 8 p.m. face off. 3. Wilmington's School Committee gets back to work on Wednesday. The board holds its December meeting inside Wilmington High School tonight. The session is slated to begin at 6:30 p.m. in the school library.

4. A new restaurant is coming to Wilmington this winter. Rizzo's Roast Beef & Pizza will open around February 1, bringing another eating option to town. The restuarant will move into the already existing building at 3R Church Street.
