So grab a cup of coffee and settle in as we start the conversation today with a question from Wilmington Patch's Mom Council:

The Story

Last week, Wilmington Patch brought you that could have reached about $70,000 in street value. in a location within about 500 feet of West Street. This was the first drug bust of this size in quite some time in town, but each week there is usually at least one drug-related incident in the police logs.

Our Question

Does the discovery of marijuana highlight a bigger issue in Wilmington, or was that an isolated incident? Where do you think Wilmington ranks with towns similar in size as far as drug issues?

We welcome you to answer the question or ask the Moms Council another parenting question in the comments section.
