Indoor Cycling Studio Opens With Wilmington Ties

The grand opening of Michelle O'Connor's indoor cycling studio, Fit Revolution!, is Saturday.

It may be just over the border in North Reading, but a new exercise venue has a Wilmington feel to it.

The grand opening of Michelle O'Connor's indoor cycling studio and boot camp training facility is Saturday, Sept. 15, on Concord Street in North Reading from 4 to 7 p.m.

In addition to its close proximity to Wilmington, the studio will also feature multiple instructors who reside in Wilmington.

“We have built an amazing team of instructors and are excited to offer boot camp classes, indoor cycling, Tabata, TRX, Muscle Madness, group training, P90X and much more,” O’Connor said.

According to O'Connor, Fit Revolution will be "one of North Reading’s greatest additions in the fitness industry." The studio will be located inside the Rams Athletic Complex and will feature top of the line equipment and experienced instructors.

You can choose a package or buy a “monthly unlimited option” to take as many classes as you can fit into your schedule.

“Our vision is to make sure that everyone gets a great workout and has fun,” she said.

A local mom, O'Connor plans to create programs and monthly rides where all the proceeds will go back to the community and charities, she said.

O'Connor was the PT Director at the Reading YMCA for four years. She ran and organized several successful programs there including Women and Weights, New Year's Resolution Program, a Spin-A-Thon and more. She plans to run similar programs in her new studio, she said, and new programs like DJ Cycling, charity rides, a rewards program and others.

“I have always dreamed I could open up a specialty fitness facility where we could offer something different than any other gym has," O'Connor said. "Being in the fitness industry for a while I have had the chance to work with amazing people and create programs that have changed people’s lives forever. Now I can put it all together in one place. I am very proud of the team that we have put together and know that what we are offering will change the way people view exercise."
