Gas prices in Danvers continue their upward march, with prices reaching the highest point ever in February and up more than a quarter in the past month.

High gas prices increase tax revenue and help the government push their environmental policies. You can't elect people like Obama and Deval Patrick and also complain about gas prices. We voted for higher gas and heating oil prices.

I would walk/bike more but its just not a bike friendly area. Driving cars is just too easy compared to walking and biking in Danvers.

The most annoying thing about walking around Danvers for me is the way the sidewalks always come to an end on one side of the road and begin again on the other side, so you're always crossing the street unneccessarily.

So true

Oh yeah I noticed that Jennifer I hate that. Especially on Centre St, and some parts have no sidewalks. And I live off route 114 more near Middleton, there are no sidewalks at all! It would be nice to have sidewalks on 114 but that will probably never happen. People drive too fast its crazy. My friend use to bike on 114, he got hit by cars a couple times. Most people just don't care if your walking or biking.
