Wilmington Public Schools Arts Festival is Underway

The festival includes a play and an art show, each running Friday and Saturday.

Looking for a little culture this weekend? Look no further than the Wilmington Public Schools Arts Festival that got underway on Thursday night.

The festival began Thursday with opening night of The Mystery of Edwin Droof, a play that runs Friday night at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 2 p.m. inside the Wilmington High School Barrows Auditorium.

Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for students and senior citizens (or $8 for the matinee). To order tickets, call (978) 694-6017 or email jason.luciana@wpsk12.com.

But that's not all that's going on this weekend. The Wilmington Public Schools Student Art Show also runs Friday night from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. inside Wilmington Middle School.

The art show is free and open to the public, complete with light refreshments. There will be pieces of art from all grade levels.
