PHOTOS: Santa Claus Comes to Town Hall

Children lined up with their Christmas lists on Thursday night.

The Wilmington Recreation Department helped Santa Claus make his list on Thursday night, allowing local children to come in and tell the man in red what they're hoping to see under their tree on Christmas morning.

And don't worry. All of the children in attendance will surely find their name on St. Nick's nice list this holiday season.

Town Hall was the venue for the annual Santa's Workshop event, which lasted for about two hours.

Children lined up down the hallway and one at a time had their chance to come in, sit on Santa's lap and tell him what's on their list while their parents snapped away with cameras and cell phones.

And the children didn't leave empty handed. Santa had a candy cane for each visitor.
