Butters Row Will Be Closed Starting Thursday
Construction started Wednesday on Church Street, but that's not the only place in Wilmington where work is being done.
Construction was slated to begin Wednesday on Church Street. But that isn't the only place in Wilmington that residents will find detours this week.
The Department of Public Works is scheduled to begin construction on Butters Row Thursday, with grinding and resurfacing work to be done.
As a result, Butters Row will be closed from Main Street to Chestnut Street during paving operations. Butters Row will only be accessible to residents of the neighborhood, though there will likely be delays.
"Please obey the directives of police details, detour signs, and warning signs during all construction operations," Wilmington Police posted on Facebook.
