  • According to the National Weather Service, there is a 30 percent chance of showers Friday which will be mostly cloudy with a high near 77. Expect a northeast wind 8 to 11 mph. 
  • There is a 60 percent chance of rain Friday night with a low of 63 expected. There will be a northeast wind from 5 to 7 mph and patchy fog after 2 a.m.
  • Saturday there is an 50 percent chance of rain with a high near 80. Expect an east wind around 6 mph and patchy fog before 2 a.m.
  • Saturday night there is a 30 percent chance of rain with a low of 64 expected. Otherwise it will be mostly cloudy. Expect a light and variable wind.
  • Sunday there is a 30 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms with a high of 88 expected. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. 
  • Sunday night will be partly cloudy, with a low around 69.

3. It's Happening Today: Check out Baby Times at 9 a.m. at the Wilmington Memorial Library for a sharing program of songs, rhymes, games and picture books for babies under the age of two years and their caregivers.

4. ICYMI: Remember Michael Santaniello? He was the Chelmsford oil company owner who scammed at least 10 victims, including one Wilmington couple, out of $21,000. He was ordered this week to pay $9,634 in restitution to Ed Oak, owner of Thrifty Car Rental in Westford for damages done to a rental car in 2012.

5. News Nearby: Tewksbury is now in the mix to compete for the state's sole slot parlor license. Penn National Gaming is eyeing a $200 million parlor on 30 acres of land off of Ames Pond Drive, according to reports by The Lowell Sun and Boston Globe. Read more here
