Wilmington Girl Scout Audrey Serna Honors Denise Kaigler at Leading Women Awards

Wilmington Girl Scout Audrey Serna presented the Leading Women Award to Denise Kaigler, Senior Vice President, Corporate Affairs & Communications, Boston Scientific Corporation at Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts’ 22nd annual Leading Women Awards Breakfast last week.

Serna, a 15-year-old Girl Scout Senior, has been involved in Girl Scouts for ten years. She started a dog walking business, Doggie Days, in middle school and has expanded to pet sitting and house sitting as her clients have known her for years and trust her. As a Girl Scout she was involved in troops as a Daisy and Brownie, but enjoys camp the most.

“I love Girl Scout camp and have been to Camps Cedar Hill, Runels, Favorite, Wabasso and Wind-in-the-Pines. When it’s not summer time, I attend camp activities all year round such as Winter Vacation Camp, April Vacation Camp and the different events offered at camp,” explains Serna.

The Leading Women Awards brings hundreds of women and other members of the greater Boston business community together to celebrate leadership, honor our awardees and support the Girl Scout mission.
