Massachusetts Vest-a-Dog’s 2014 Calendar in full color featuring all Massachusetts police dogs, is now available for a $10 donation, online and at select businesses, as well.  All proceeds will help support Massachusetts K-9, providing bulletproof K-9 vests, essential K-9 equipment, and funding for training and dogs.

“Your donation of $10 for our calendar truly helps make a difference to insuring the safety of our hard-working police dogs, who provide tremendously valuable services to keep our communities safe,” notes Kathy Hinds, Massachusetts Vest-a-Dog President, “Our 2014 calendar K-9s represent the breadth of support Massachusetts Vest-a-Dog provides to K-9 programs across the state; from cruiser kennels and over-heat-detector/alarm and remote door popper systems, bite suits, K9 First Aid kits and helping fund K9 training conferences and even help purchase the dogs themselves.”

K-9s and some of their handlers in the calendar are from city/town police departments in Belmont, Boston, Douglas, Holliston, Holyoke, Salem, Sutton, and Westford, as well as the Massachusetts State Police.

This is the eighth calendar offered by the non-profit, and the third exclusively featuring the work of photographer Jonathan Kozowyk, whose extraordinary efforts successfully captured K-9s (and their handlers) at work.
