Wilmington Democratic Town Committee To Host Candidates At 2/3 Meeting

All Democrats living in Wilmington are invited to the Wilmington Democratic Town Committee’s next meeting on Monday, February 3 at 7pm at WCTV Headquarters (10 Waltham Street).  Governor candidate Juliette Kayyem, Lt. Wilmington Democratic Town Committee To Hold Caucus on 2/8 at 10am

Democrats in Wilmington will hold a caucus to elect delegates to the Massachusetts Democratic Party’s 2014 Convention on Saturday, February 8 at 10am (arrive by 9:45am) at the 4th of July Building (142 Middlesex Ave.).  All registered Democrats in Wilmington are eligible to participate.

The Wilmington Democratic Caucus will elect 11 delegates and 3 alternates to the 2014 Massachusetts Democratic Convention held on Friday, June 13 and Saturday, June 14 in Worcester.  Delegates will be divided equally between men and women.  Those not elected as Delegate and/or Alternate, who meet the qualifications, may apply to be add-on delegates in the following categories: youth, minority, and disabled.  Contact Chair Gary DePalma at 978-658-2330 or gbd87@comcast.net with any questions.

Wilmington Democratic Town Committee Elects Officers

At its January 6th meeting, the Wilmington Democratic Town Committee unanimously elected Gary DePalma (Chair), Robert Peterson, Jr. (Vice Chair), Cristina Warren (Treasurer), and Robert Hayes (Secretary) as its officers for the next two years.  The Committee thanks outgoing Vice Chair Jay Donovan for his incredible contribution to the group.  The Committee wishes its youngest member, Associate Member Erika Johnson, well as she embarks on an exciting internship with Senator Elizabeth Warren’s office this semester.  The Committee extends well wishes for a speedy recovery to its beloved member, Lorraine Casey.
