The Women of Wilmington will be hosting their Second Annual Festival of Tree's this weekend. Hours are Saturday, December 1st from 9am to 10pm and Sunday, December 2nd from 9:30am to 2pm at Villanova Hall located at 126 Middlesex Avenue in Wilmington. One of a kind spectular raffle of amazing holiday trees, wreaths and baskets. Caroling with the WOW Children's Choir at 11am and a special appearance by Mrs. Claus at 2pm. Hot dogs, popcorn and a bake sale. Proceeds from this event will be used to adopt local families for the holidays and help fund the WOW high school scholarship, among countless other charitable projects throughout the community. More About Saint Thomas of Villanova Church
St. Thomas of Villanova Church is a very active congregation of young families. Every year for the past 10 years, congregants have traveled out of state to help rehabilitate homes for those in need. In years past, they would travel to Appalachia, but since Hurricane Katrina, they have made it their mission to help those in Biloxi, Mississippi regain decent housing. At home in Wilmington, the church offers Bible study and youth programs.
