With Snow flurries and a cold that turned cheeks cherry red, Wilmington held its annual tree lighting Saturday night on Wilmington Town Common.
There was hot chocolate, hayrides and an ice sculpture that helped over 200 Wilmington residents come together to Listen to the Christmas Story, sing holiday songs and await the arrival of Santa.
With the help of the Wilmington Police Deparetment, the Fire Department, and the Wilmington Minutemen Company, Santa arrived at 6 p.m. to turn the switch and light the Common in its holiday colors.

Just wanted to take a minute to say thank you to Lennie for putting together three outstanding galleries from last weekend's holiday festivities. Thanks for blogging for us, Lennie. Your photos add a ton of value to the site!
