Open Invitation to a Rally -- Thursday --Oct. 18 -- Doug Sears for State Representative -- 6-9:00 PM -- Tewksbury Country Club

As you know from reading the PATCH,  I am running for State Representative against an entrenched 35 year incumbent. It’s time for a change. I need your help.

Why is it time? My opponent has grown stale.  He was a ball of fire in 1978 as “Legislator of the Year.”  But for years now he’s been caught up in the “go along to get along” of “business as usual” on Beacon Hill.  Associated Industries of Massachusetts gives him a 50% rating – the lowest in the Legislature – for votes of interest to business.  He voted to unionize childcare workers, placing a new financial burden on our working families.  “A good man, doing a good job?” Not so much ….

My opponent has stayed too long at the dance. Wilmington and Tewksbury deserve better!

This Thursday, October 18th from 6-9:00 pm, The Committee to Elect Doug Sears is holding a Rally in at the beautiful Tewksbury Country Club, 1880 Main Street, Tewksbury, MA.

Other candidates for election and re-election will be Special Guests.  I hope to see you there!

This will be a simple event. No fanfare. Just come as you are, have a beverage and snack, engage  some good people in good conversations, meet some candidates, make a financial contribution, pick up lawn signs, and a standout sign for the October 24th Debate at Tewksbury Memorial High School.  You do not need to RSVP to attend, but for planning purposes, it helps me for you to visit www.Doug4Rep.com and click on the Events page.

Massachusetts limits individual contributions to $500.00. If you’re unable to attend the Rally, your contribution of whatever amount you can afford to help Retire One Party Rule and to Return Massachusetts to Work would help bring this Campaign over the finish line. To donate, please visit my website www.Doug4Rep.com and click on the Donate button.  Thank you in advance for your support of returning Balanced Government to Beacon Hill.

This may be the most important election in our lifetime. Don’t forget to vote on November 6th!

Doug,

The irony is incredible. You ran your Selectman re-election campaign on the slogan that "we work well together so why break it up". Now you are claiming that your opponent is going along to get along? It worked for you and now suddenly does not work. Sorry Doug....3 votes for Jim Miceli in this household
