Donald R. Bumiller, Candidate for Governor's Councilor 5th District handily won the straw poll conducted at last Saturday's Haverhill Democratic City Committee breakfast.

The Bumiller campaign has also announced endorsements from several prominent retired judges including: Hon. Joseph I. Dever, Hon. Dominic J. Russo, Hon. Ronald D'Avolio and Hon. Robert E. Hayes.

In announcing this endorsement, Judge Dever said: "There is absolutely no question who the best candidate is in the Governor's Council race and that candidate is Donald Bumiller. I am proud to lend him my support and endorsement."
