Wilmington's Holly Walton Named 'Unsung Heroine'

State Representative Charles Murphy (D-Burlington) joined his colleagues in the Legislature on Wednesday in recognizing Massachusetts “Unsung Heroines,” sponsored by the Massachusetts Commission on the Status of Women. 

Wilmington resident Ms. Holly Walton, nominated by Rep. Murphy, was honored for founding “Heaps of Hope,” an organization that provides support and assistance to women undergoing breast cancer treatments.

“I am honored to recognize Holly at this remarkable event,” said Representative Murphy. “Her work with, and on behalf of, breast cancer patients and survivors is inspiring. She is truly deserving of the title ‘Unsung Heroine.’”
