While you continue your financial recovery after the holiday season, businesses in Wilmington are offering some good deals this week.

This week, Frugal Family scoured our local sources to come up with great deals on footwear, electronics, car service, fitness and cleaning.

1. Olympia Sports

Deal: Olympia is running a shoe sale through Tuesday night for sure, with the possibility of continuing later in the week. Specially marked shoes are buy one, get one half off. Since many of their shoes are already marked down for after holiday sales, you can get brand names at pretty low prices. Their Winter Liquidation sale is running all week, so you can get money off on warm clothes like parkas, hats and gloves.

2. RadioShack

Deal: When you trade in your old phone at RadioShack this week, you get $50 towards a new Sprint EVO phone. Your old phone must be in working condition, but it’s a good chance to upgrade to a new 4G phone if you’ve been thinking of getting a new one.

3. Meineke

Deal: Lots of car service shops have oil change deals.  Meineke has one of the lowest prices around at $19.95 for a basic oil change. For $29.95, which is a price many charge for a basic oil change, you can get a Preferred Oil Change. The Preferred Oil Change includes a Roadside Assistance package for four months. 4. Planet Fitness

Deal: Though many gyms had New Year’s specials to help with those resolutions, it’s not too late to get a good deal on a gym membership. Planet Fitness is running a special right now for their PF Black Card with no start-up fee. For $19.99 a month, you get free massage chair use, free tanning, half-price cooler drinks, and access to any Planet Fitness location. You can also bring a guest with you every time you go to the gym. Visit their website or stop by to sign up.

5. The Cleaner Spot 

Deal: Now that we’re well into winter, your family’s winter coats have probably been getting a lot of use. The Cleaner Spot currently has a deal for 20 percent off winter coats. It is open seven days a week, and there coupon can be printed here.
