Visions for Vacancies: What Should Go Here?
What do you want to see go into the vacant storefront at 362 Middlesex Ave.?
Welcome to our latest installment of our new series "Visions for Vacancies," which gives you, the readers, a chance to play developer and planner.
Today's vacant property is located next to Santa Maria Pizza and The Donut Shop, at 362 Middlesex Ave. The building, which is available for rental by contacting (508) 423-5544, sees plenty of traffic from cars driving towards Town Common, looking to connect with I-93 or heading plenty of other directions.
This location is the end unit on an otherwise filled strip of businesses. The Donut Shop was the most recent addition to the plaza.
So we pose the question -- what business do you think would be a perfect fit in this location? Let us know in the comments section below.

This end of Wilmington needs a Walgreens. There are 3 Pharmacies near the plaza, but none near the Lucci's side of town or in North Wilmington. Tired of having to go over to the Plaza for everything!

You are reading my mind! I have long complained this is probably the only town in America without an official bakery (I don't count Market Basket as a bakery)...and Trader Joe's...I want one!!!
