VIDEO: Residents Flock to Farmers Market Opening Day
Sunday marked the start of an extended season for the Wilmington Farmers Market, which is open until the end of September.
Throngs of residents enjoyed a sunny Sunday at the Wilmington Farmers Market, which opened for the season on Father's Day.
There was a solid crowd from the time of the opening bell at 10:30 until the market closed at 1:30 p.m.
In addition to the host of vendors, there were also performances from Wilmington Dance Academy members. That included a flash mod early in the day, which Wilmington Patch will provide video coverage of on Tuesday.
Thanks to a recent decision by the Board of Selectmen, the Farmers Market will now be open through the end of September on a weekly basis.
