The state champion hockey team celebrated at its end of season banquet on Wednesday.

Wilmington boys hockey team added to its hardware collection on Wednesday night, and they added an important piece to their jewelery collection as well.

The Wildcats held their end of season banquet at Tewksbury Country Club and each player received a state championship ring in addition to several other awards that were dished out.

In addition, Cam Owens was named the team captain for next year's team.

Though the season is now officially over, it's never too early to start thinking about next year. Head coach Steve Scanlon and several players said they already have one thing on their mind - a repeat.
