Tewksbury Man Arrested for Armed Robbery With Knife

The following is an excerpt from the Wilmington Police log from Thursday, December 20, to Monday, December 24.
Thursday, December 20
3:53 p.m.: The box at Pacific Packaging on Industrial Way was activated. The Fire Department responded and reported that a sprinkler pipe between the office and warehouse burst.
8:31 p.m.: Wilmington Police assisted Billerica in locating a vehicle that caused an accident in their town. The vehicle was located at the Shell Station on Middlesex Ave. Billerica Police towed the vehicle to their station and arrested H.R. Zeller III, 53, of 10 Dadant Drive, Wilmington, for operating under the influence of liquor.
11:25 p.m.: A caller at Rite Aid reported that a female party in a red sweatshirt with sunglasses and a gray bandana wielding a knife just walked to the rear of the building towards Ristuccia Arena. A 26-year-old Tewksbury woman was summonsed on charges of disorderly conduct, but it appears no other crime occurred.
Friday, December 21
7:24 a.m.: The box at the Shell Station on Main Street was activated. Fire extinguishers were discharged over the pumps and numerous vehicles were covered. The Fire Department handled the situation.
1:17 p.m.: Calling from AAA Tire Company on Main Street, someone reported a possible stabbing. No one was stabbed, but one person was arrested at the scene. Brian W. Saber, 36, of 33 Baystate Ave., Tewksbury, was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and armed robbery.
Saturday, December 22
1:05 a.m.: Tewksbury Police received three calls about a loud boom in the area of their Salem Road home. Officers checked the area and found nothing.
3:41 a.m.: Police found a party asleep in a vehicle at Wilmington House of Pizza. The party is an employee at a nearby business. A small amount of Class D was confiscated for destruction.
8:50 a.m.: Sometime the previous night, the back window of a Pleasant Road resident’s vehicle was smashed.
Sunday, December 23
3:22 a.m.: After a traffic stop on Glen Road, Sean J. MacSweeney, 25, of 62 Lawrence Street, Wilmington, was arrested for operating under the influence of liquor and marked lanes violation.
2:14 p.m.: Multiple callers reported a male party standing on the Richmond Street bridge. Trains were stopped in the area. The Fire Department transported the party to a nearby hospital.
Monday, December 24
8:58 a.m.: A caller one Industrial Way reported that three subcontractors were at the location this morning making threats.
1:09 p.m.: An anonymous caller reported a gun shot was heard near the Department of Public Works building on Andover Street and he believed someone was in the area hunting. A Haverhill man was summonsed for disorderly conduct, discharging a firearm within 500 feed of a dwelling, discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a building and trespassing with a motor vehicle.
11:05 p.m.: The manager at CVS reported a male stole a stereo system worth about $100. When the manager asked to see a receipt, the party fled in a black Honda. Tewksbury Police stopped the vehicle. Daniel J. Melanson Jr., 30, of 17 West Baltimore Street Apt 35, Lynn, was arrested and charged with shoplifting by asportation.
