How much weight does a political endorsement carry with you at the voting booth? Is it likely to influence your decision on Nov. 6?
It is undeniably the season for endorsements as several closely contested state and federal races are in the home stretch here in Massachusetts before Election Day. Pledges of support for the candidates are pouring in by sitting or past public officials and some are making campaign appearances together.
Typically, such endorsements fall along party lines, but not always. And sometimes, they come unexpectedly at the last minute.
Most of the time, however, campaign supporters on either side and other more vocal voters are quick to write off and criticize the public pledges of support...but what about the average voter who may not have allegiances or may still be undecided?
Does the endorsement matter then? Does such an endorsement matter to you in this election? Let us know what you think in the comments section below.

No, they do not matter to me because I pay attention to the races and make up my own mind. I cannot imagine a time when an endorsement from someone/anyone would make me change my mind or even help me make up my mind. I suppose though if I did not educate myself and simply voted, it could sway me.
